Logan Public Transit would like to share a neat community program with the people of Logan this week. The Sadie Says-Read a Book progam is designed to encourage children with disabilities to read. The program is funded solely by donations of new and gently used books. The little lady who helped co-found the program has this to say:

Hi, my name is Sadie Clark and I love to read. I can go on really cool adventures just by reading books. I think that everyone should have a book of their own, that is why my mom and I founded the Sadie Says-Read a Book program.
Sadie wants all of her new friends to experience the feeling of owning a book. Sadie collects, inspects, and categorizes all donated books. She then distributes the books to children with disabilities throughout Fairfield and Hocking Counties. Contact Mary Clark at 740-569-7088 to make a donation or drop by one of the following donation collection sites.
