Come join the us as we celebrate the grand opening of a new Goodwill here in the City of Logan on Saturday, February 26th. The grand opening is scheduled to begin with a ribbon-cutting at 9:00 am, followed by a morning filled with shopping, goodies, and giveaways. The event will take place at the Hocking Mall.
Goodwill helps people earn a living, improve their lives, and strengthen their families and their communities. Their network of independent, community-based stores in the United States offers customized job training, employment placement and other services to people who have disabilities, lack education or job experience, or face employment challenges.
Logan Public Transit will be attending this year's "Christmas on Main Street" parade on Saturday, December 4th. LPT staff will join the festivities---set to include marching bands, horses, and other local entries---and distribute candy to all those good boys and girls (young and old alike) who gather along Main Street for the event. We hope to see you there!

On Tuesday, November 2nd, the Ohio Democratic Party* is sponsoring all rides on Logan Public Transit for people who live in the City of Logan and up to 2 miles beyond city limits. Whether you are getting out to vote or just getting out of the house, you can ride with us for free on Election Day between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
If you live more than 2 miles outside of the city limits, we can forward you to a Democratic Party Representative who will provide free transportation to and from the polls only. Call 740.385.6999 or check our service area map to find out whether your address is covered by our Service Area.

On Tuesday, October 19th, Logan Public Transit attended an Open House demonstration of the state-of-the-art weatherization techniques used in the Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP) to reduce energy use by low-income Ohioans in Murray City. The guest list included State Representative Debbie Phillips, State Senator Jimmy Stewart,Congressman Zack Space,representatives of the Ohio Department of Development, Columbia Gas, Conservation Services Group, members of the community including local public officials, COAD, Community Action, HWAP vendors and media representatives as well as many others.
